RunRiva makes trivia apps that take one subject seriously. Each app is devoted to a single topic worth knowing well — no clutter, no endless category menus, no nonsense. Just a clean, dignified game you can play every day.
Hi, I'm Maciej
RunRiva is a one-person studio in Poland — that's me. Since 1996 I've worked in and around the internet and digital products: as a product manager, on large portals and small fan sites, and in corporate transformations.
I've loved trivia games for years, and somewhere along the way I realised I enjoy hosting quizzes even more than playing them — for friends, at family gatherings, and in the corporate training sessions I run. RunRiva grew straight out of that.

One subject, done properly
Most trivia apps spread themselves thin across hundreds of categories. I do the opposite: one app, one subject, calibrated across five difficulty levels — from trivial warm-ups to expert-level deep cuts. The result is a game that rewards genuine curiosity, not just guessing.
Questions you can trust
The questions are powered by QuizBase — a multilingual trivia engine I also built, drawing on 1.17M+ questions across 11 open datasets, each one carrying its own attribution under an open license (CC / public domain). Every question can be traced back to where it came from. A quiz is only as good as the facts behind it.
